PGA TOUR

FROM "NEW MEDIA" TO SETTING THE STANDARD FOR ATHLETE CONTENT STRATEGY

Back in 2015 when it was still being called "New Media," Preston McClellan started with the PGA TOUR working in social media. Over the six years that followed, Preston built the league's athlete, influencer, and content marketing strategies while developing deep relationships in the professional side of the game.

As Director of Player Content, Preston hired Bryan and Micah from Griffo+Co to produce content and strategy for TOUR athletes to grow their platforms and earn more sponsorship dollars.

During his time at the TOUR, Preston oversaw the publishing of over 6,500 posts across TOUR athlete platforms. The performance of that content resulted in nearly a billion impressions, as well as hundreds of millions of social media engagements.
